Marc Messier (16 August 1947 – 7 July 2026) was a Canadian actor and writer from Quebec. He was known for his work in television, film and theatre, including his roles as Réjean in La Petite Vie, Marc Gagnon in Lance et compte and characters in Les Boys. Messier began his acting career in the 1970s and gained recognition through stage productions, including Broue, which he co-created with Michel Côté and Marcel Gauthier. Over a career spanning more than five decades, he appeared in numerous Quebec television series, films and theatrical productions. He was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada for his contributions to Canadian culture and the performing arts.
