Aya Tademaru (Japanese: 蓼丸 綾, Hepburn: Tademaru Aya; born March 24, 1985) better known by the stage name Haruka Ayase (綾瀬 はるか), is a Japanese actress who started her career as a model in the year 2000. She has since become a leading actress in television and film. The Japan Times has referred to Ayase as "the Japanese version of Anne Hathaway". In 2018, she was named the most beautiful face in Japan.
