Stephan Kofi Ambrosius (born 18 December 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for German 2. Bundesliga club Karlsruher SC on loan from Swiss club St. Gallen. Born in Germany, and a former German youth international, he represents the Ghana national team. Ambrosius joined the Hamburger SV youth academy in 2012, rising through the ranks and making his professional debut in the Bundesliga in March 2018.
