Alexander Pope (21 Mei 1688 G.L. – 30 Mei 1744) adalah seorang penyair, penerjemah, dan satiris Inggris dari era Era Pencerahan yang dianggap sebagai salah satu penyair Inggris paling terkemuka di awal abad ke-18. Seorang eksponen sastra Augustan, Pope terkenal karena puisi satir dan diskursifnya termasuk The Rape of the Lock, The Dunciad, dan An Essay on Criticism, dan untuk terjemahannya dari Homer. Pope sering dikutip dalam The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations, beberapa syairnya sudah masuk ke dalam bahasa umum (contohnya "damning with faint praise" atau "to err is human; to forgive, divine").
