Claudio Barragán Escobar (born 10 April 1964) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is the manager of Eldense. His career was closely associated to Elche as both a player and manager, but he was also an important part of the Deportivo de La Coruña teams of the 90s. He amassed La Liga totals of 259 games and 66 goals over nine seasons, also representing in the competition Mallorca and Salamanca, and added 181 matches and 32 goals in the Segunda División. Barragán appeared for Spain in 1992 and 1993. He started working as a coach in 2008.
