William Dichtel (born 1978, Houston, Texas) is an American chemist and the Robert L. Letsinger Professor of Chemistry at Northwestern University. He is known for pioneering work in an emerging class of polymers known as covalent organic frameworks (COFs), two-dimensional polymers, and porous materials for environmental remediation including novel methods for forever chemical (PFAS) destruction and recycling polyurethane foams.
