David Bruce Cline (December 7, 1933 – June 27, 2015) was an American particle physicist known for his contributions to the discovery of the Higgs boson and the W and Z intermediate bosons. After receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he went on to join the university's physics faculty and founded the "Pheno Group".
